Once we have identified the mechanisms of interest for a given material, and obtained relevant data from the necessary tests, we can obtain material parameters of interest for your simulation through:
- Qualitative assessment of the relevancy of existing material models; if deemed to be inadequate, improve the existing one or come up with a new one.
- Use Z-opt, Z-sim and Z-mat Library to identify the material parameters. In some cases, this exercise would be done in multiple stages, especially when a variety of tests are involved, or multiple mechanisms are active in the physical behavior of the material.
